If you are a regular reader of our "Retail Adventures" then you know that we rarely miss a week of blogging. But it's been a difficult three weeks. My father passed away unexpectedly at the end of December. I want to tell you about his death because things happened during his hospital stay that should not have happened. But I am not ready to tell his story yet.
Rich and I hit the ground running on January 9. We traveled to Minneapolis and would have spent several days at the airport if the airline we were booked on had anything to say about it. Fortunately, Northwest Airlines bailed us out -- NWA is our new favorite airline.
We spent three incredibly fast days working in Dublin, Ireland -- it's a beautiful country and we can't wait to go back. We leave for Washington, DC on Thursday then travel to CHA Winter on the following Sunday. We're not complaining! We're grateful that our schedule is so full.
So that's the short version of why we have not been posting lately. But that changes now.
