We saw this sign on the door of a New Orleans gift shop on Jackson Square, pre-Katrina, two weeks after Mardi Gras. We applaud this retailer's creativity -- this sign might not fly in your market, but it works perfectly here. And in contrast to the same old, NO! NO! NO! signing found in the windows of every other store, this one's a breath of fresh air!

Things that annoy us:

CELL PHONES: They annoy everyone BUT you. Really ... they do. Trust us.
SMOKING: Ick. ‘Nuff said. (hack-hack!)
EATING: TO-GO cups are fine. Glass bottles are not.
SHIRTLESS DUDES: Still deciding on the ladies …
UNATTENDED CHILDREN: Too scary!

Things we really like:

MONEY: Mmmm … Money … Money Goooooood..
STRANGE PEOPLE: But if you’re too strange, we just might hire you!
SHOP-A-HOLICS: If you spend all of your money here, you won’t have to shop anywhere else … See? We’re being helpful!
