We took these photos of the beautiful garden behind the St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans, one right after the other, on a sunny day in May of 2004.
We have no idea what the white light that's forming on the left side of each photo is, but we do know that we didn’t see it while we were standing there.

Pirates Alley is right next to the cathedral. There have been many ghostly sighting there. Maybe that's what's in your picture.
